Pipework Techniques

Nearly thirty years ago I had the opportunity to learn the unique art of motorcycle exhaust fabrication. I had previously acquired my trade certificate in motorcycle engineering and had also picked up a few metal working skills. Somehow it all jelled together and before long I was running a small business in Christchurch and a few years later I bought it.
 

In the late 1980's I had the privilege of doing some exhaust work on John Britten's early V750 & 1000 Proto-types. I will never forget Johns energy and determination, his seriousness about getting the job done and doing it right; his neat appearance
and his likeable nature.

Since those early days I have worked on a huge variety of motorcycle exhausts, sticking only to that (what some call) limited trade.
